Prof Oran Rigby
Physician, intensivist and surgeon. Professor of Robotics and Autonomous Systems. Founder of Akkure Genomics, Docnostics / HomeGenie and the patented Quantum Consult™ platform. Author of the 2014 Royal Flying Doctor Service strategic review.

Built by a clinician who has spent a career inside the system he is now redesigning.
Intensivist, surgeon, professor and founder. Three decades on the front line of critical care and three healthcare ventures later, Prof Rigby leads MedeAIR's mission to design intelligent, patient-owned healthcare infrastructure.
"Knowledge is health. Own yours."
Prof Rigby's career spans three decades at the intersection of critical care medicine, surgery, technology and systems design — the intentional pursuit of building, not predicting, the next era of healthcare.
His work has consistently anticipated mainstream healthcare innovation by close to a decade — virtual critical care networks (2014), multimodal AI patient intake (2017), AI-enabled home diagnostics (2020) and patient-owned medical digital twins (2019) — each captured in deployed platforms, granted patents or national strategic reviews.
He was inspired to found Akkure Genomics after close relatives were diagnosed with inheritable, progressive chronic disease — convinced that the future of precision medicine must place ownership and control with patients, not the commercial sequencing and ancestry businesses extracting their data today.

One founder. A team of specialised AI agents. One orchestrated intelligence.
Prof Rigby leads MedeAIR alongside a multi-agentic team — a continuously orchestrated network of specialised AI agents covering clinical evidence, operations, infrastructure, regulation, research and strategy. Together they form the MedeAIR MASH layer: human expertise amplified by agentic intelligence, coordinated through a single orchestration engine.
Clinical Evidence
Scans literature, trials and guidelines in real time.
Operations
Monitors deployments, throughput and quality signals.
Infrastructure
Watches platforms, data flows and reliability.
Regulation & Policy
Tracks evolving regulatory and policy frontiers.
Research
Surfaces emerging science, partners and discoveries.
Genomics
Curates genomic and precision-medicine intelligence.
Diagnostics
Validates home and clinical diagnostic pathways.
Robotics & Physical AI
Interfaces with robotic and embodied agents.
Patient Experience
Listens to patient-owned data and outcomes.
Strategy & Foresight
Translates signals into MedeAIR's next moves.
Orchestration Engine
Coordinates every agent into one intelligence layer.
Prof Oran Rigby
Human-in-the-loop. Clinical authority. Final judgement.
MASH is how MedeAIR thinks at scale — clinician-led, agent-augmented, always on. It is the engine behind every platform we build.
