01

Identity verified

Computer-vision verification of the user via phone-front camera before the kit can be opened.

02

Sampling monitored

AI vision observes vial holder + outer sleeve alignment; procedural compliance scored in real time.

03

Result certified

Negative results generate verifiable digital certificates for travel or venue access.

04

Auto-reported

Positive results forwarded automatically to the relevant monitoring body via API.

05Narrative

COVID-19 exposed the limitations of scaling public testing and sampling capacity. HomeGenie was conceived by clinicians to dissolve the bottleneck: a low-cost kit, paired with a phone-based AI vision system, that verifies the user's identity, observes sample collection technique end-to-end, and certifies the result.

Negative results generate verifiable certificates for travel or venue access; positive results are reported automatically to the relevant monitoring body. The same capture process unlocks downstream use cases including remote genomic sampling, virtual clinical trials, workplace compliance testing, infectious disease clearance and accessible testing for visually impaired patients.

HomeGenie operates a B2B2C model with antigen and PCR providers, distributed through online and high-street pharmacies. The platform addresses a COVID-19 diagnostics market projected at USD 11.4 billion (2020–2027, 7.9% CAGR) and the broader global drug screening market estimated at USD 4.8 billion growing at 15.8% CAGR.
